(NY TIMES)   NOW, my LATEST, BRAND NEW performance begins on JANUARY 9th, 2010 when I start performing live weekly episodes of "AS THE GLOBE WARMS" at ECHO CURIO, a postage stamp-sized establishment on Sunset Blvd in Echo Park, Los Angeles.   ONLY THIS TIME, wherever you are, you can watch me make it up as I go along, right before your eyes. My new META-SERIAL is a kind of poetic corollary to political commentary shows, a dramatically-driven riff on the salient themes and currents of our adolescent century. HOW'S IT WORK?   "AS THE GLOBE WARMS," THE INTERNET BROADCAST WILL BE CONTINUOUS, 15-minutes per week for 48 WEEKS OUT OF THE YEAR. For the live Los Angeles serial, I'll perform a new half-hour every week for 3 months, then take 3 months off, then do another 3 months of weekly performances. This 3 on / 3 off serial will continue for a few years.
