The old way of getting rid of bags is wasteful and unjust to the planet and people. Keeping bags in circulation and out of landfills is the more sustainable solution. We know this because our Day Owl backpacks begin as bottles in those same landfills. With care and attention at the Day Owl workshop, old backpacks can find new purpose.

1.) Complete the form to tell us about the bag you are recycling. 2.) Add the recycling kit to your cart. We’ll send you a prepaid shipping label to mail us the old bag. 3.) Drop it off at any UPS location. Thanks for helping us keep bags out of landfills! At this time we can only accept five backpacks per person. This product is not available to be shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, or internationally currently.
